I'm sure everyone has their own idea of where Pandora may be located. I love that the Chinese government renamed a mountain because of the Avatar movie. There are many places on earth, some unknown and hopefully, still undiscovered that are indescribably lush and filled with other-worldly life, i.e., geckos and cane spiders as big as a human's hand (not an exaggeration, I've seen one). From my vantage point, Maui, Hawaii is just such a place. There are places on Maui that seem to defy description in time and space. Right now it's whale season and whether you're on a boat or standing on the shore looking at the blue Pacific, you can often see them as they play in the water. Pods of whales, mothers and their babies, all peacefully gliding through, their tails fluke, periodically one or two will breach. If you are fortunate enough to see it, you begin to realize how fragile life really is, how much of it we take for granted as though these are everyday occurrences. While you're swimming (or pretending to), you might see a few turtles stick their little heads up, check everything out. You might be right next to them, instead of trying to touch them, duck your head under water and watch them, it's a treat you won't see in the Midwest or on the East Coast. Waterfalls are available to see in various parts of the United States, yet I don't think you will see as many as you will in Hawaii, not in one day. Life....every day that we LIVE it, is a blessing. We are part of nature and nature a part of us, we ARE nature like no other. Practice enjoying your blessings, eventually it will become like breathing to you. We are all LIFE_____M
